The plant cannabis sativa is an ancient crop, description of which is found in the writings of the Roman writer Pliny the Elder. He wrote that it was used in cooking, as well as in medicine and household.

In addition, hemp seed oil contains indispensable polyunsaturated fatty acid omega-3 and a full range of aminoacids. Hemp oil has the optimal correlation of two essential fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6 in the ratio of 1:3 respectively. Fatty linolenic and alpha-linolenic acids, which are necessary for growth, are also found in hemp oil.
Apart from acids, the oil comprises vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, E, K, D, trace elements and minerals – calcium, zinc, iron, phosphorus, potassium, manganese and sulphur.

In case of cardiovascular diseases. Fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6 are essential for human body. They enhance immunity and facilitate proper functioning of heart and blood vessels.
